I am thrilled to share that after several years of working towards this moment, I am officially releasing my first knitting book!

Friendship Mitten Book – Techniques for Knitting & Designing Latvian Mittens will be hot off the presses this month, and I will be hosting the official public book release and celebration on Saturday, September 30th from 1-6 pm at the Work Hive in Sugarhouse!

I am excited to finally be sharing this book – which includes 20 unique patterns along with a deep dive into the techniques used in creating a pair of Latvian mittens. I hope Friendship Mittens – Techniques for Knitting & Designing Latvian Mittens will give knitters interested in Latvian Mittens the confidence to knit a pair of their own!

The Book Release celebration will be a relaxed afternoon and you can come and go as you please. I’ll have the book available for purchase along with a display of all 20 pairs of mittens! Bring your knitting and enjoy the company of other friends for some social knitting time!

I’m asking for RSVPs just to get an idea of headcount - a “yes” response doesn’t lock you in, and an RSVP isn’t necessary to attend… it all just gives me a better idea of how many people to expect!
