You've taken the Beginning Knit class at the shop, or you're getting back into the craft after a hiatus, or maybe you're just a little rusty and need a refresher. If you know how to cast on, knit, and purl — this class is for you!
Building on the basics, we'll cover both English and Continental methods of knitting and purling, practice different types of increases and decreases and how they affect shaping, learn to identify and correct mistakes, and understand how to read a pattern and why gauge matters. The goal: a strong, confident command of your knitting fundamentals.
Materials to bring: 1 skein of light-colored worsted yarn, and a set of metal US 8 needles (circular 16", 24", or straight)
